I only commented because mine used to do the same, I had sky+, I had the sky chaps come out and advised me my system was being phased out. Now I'm skyQ and no more loss of signal.

I don’t have a sky box. However the problem was finally sorted as our neighbour Bob discovered a fuse had blown on the booster box.  Phew, back to watching the Olympics. Thanks for the suggestions. I’ll know who to contact if there’s an aerial problem in the future.

Can anyone recommend someone who can sort out our TV aerial. Our TV stopped working and says there’s no signal.
