Also found a useful set of links about water quality in the Evenlode at https://www.wildoxfordshire.org.uk/biodiversity/river-catchments/evenlode-catchment/projects/environmental-monitoring/ Its great to see families enjoying the swimming - just increases the importance of decisive action to improve water quality

Do watch it if it's still available---couldn't get it on the link suggested but got it on Youtube by just putting in Rivercide documentary. Mostly about the river Wye but a small report from WASP (the Windrush). All totally appalling and as many people as possible need to come aboard and show how much they care.

It's a remarkable watch and very shocking. Puts into context the sorry state of the Evenlode as it flows through Charlbury. It seems to be available on www.rivercide.tv

Apologies this is very late notice but anyone interested in the state of our river(s) should watch this: https://www.facebook.com/RivercideTV at 7.00 - yes, in 10 minutes time!  If you don't like facebook - I don't - just put Rivercide TV in your browser and you should find it.  Crowdfunded documentary...

Expect it can be picked up on replay etc.  I'm not as one with Monbiot on everything but he's bang on that there has been - and continues to be - a total regulatory failure for at least a decade. This may not be the debate ghetto but not hard to work out who's responsible for that!
