To the helpful member of the public who does not know how to respect private property, when you cut the string on the field gate into the bottom of wigwell and left the gate open you unwittingly let out the herd of cattle. The footpath does not cross in this part of the field and is very clearly signposted. This incident happened between Tuesday afternoon and Friday morning causing us serious problems when it came to us TB testing Friday morning and the cattle were across the other open fields instead of the one field they were supposed to be confined in. We welcome people enjoying the rural countryside but please respect the use of the land and livestock within it.
