Thanks, I didn't realise that. However, FGW have just announced that the union is suspending the strikes after all - hopefully permanently.

The strike will only affect those service run with FGW mainline trains, ie the 7:31, it will not affect those run on the old thames turbo trains, such as the 6:41 and 7:5?-whatever it is nowadays!
This info was given to passengers by the senior conductor last week.

In case other rail users had not noticed, a rail strike is planned for Oct 3rd on Great Western Trains. Hopefully it will be called off, but if not then Charlbury will definitely be affected.
