Would be really interested in hearing if anyone has an active swallow or house martin nesting site at their house, we are mapping them this year (along with hedgehogs, swifts, frogs, toads, newts, grass snakes). Charlbury used to have so many and their numbers have plummeted, they need all the help they can get. Please send me a message here or to charlburywildlife@charlburygreenhub.org.uk or contact Louise Spicer.

Thankyou !  Flora

We bought our house in Charlbury on 1st May 2015. The first thing I noticed was the swallows. Long after we are all gone to the Lord, the swallows will continue to come back to Charlbury. I find that a most comforting thought.

Two swallows by the bridge by the Station this afternoon. First we have seen this year.
