Apologies to all for any disturbance that the silent disco at Little Monkeys may have caused.  Whilst it would be great to think that it was a party going on, unfortunately it was just the power cut causing issues with some party lights that had been left plugged in.  These have now been unplugged and normality has resumed.

Well little Monkeys seem to have disco lights  rotating in 2 rooms going not sure if they set them up for Red nose day or the electric going on off a  few times has set them off to disco mode.

Back on after a couple of minutes. 

Long enough though to discover for the first time that the electric recliner  does not have any back up power, so manoeuvred off the side of that, and used the light from the iPad to navigate across the room to locate a torch/candle. Found that just as the lights went back on and the TV, phone, satellite, broadband reset themselves - modern life!.....

The power has gone out in Ticknell Piece, and it flickered back on for a second. So this looks like a big one.

Fortunately I've got a small UPS which will keep the router and WiFi going for a few hours, normally to deal with the short outages but this has the feeling of a longer event.
