Oxford to Cambridge Expressway has finally been cancelled by (Debate)

So the road proposal to Cambridge has been scrapped, is it because of public pressure to reduce car usage, if so why do people complain about public transport schemes that are being built or proposed!? The same goes out to people who want refugees to come over then complain  housing developments being built, where do they expect them to live?
