Update from Wilderness Organisers:

There will absolutely still be local tickets available to book this year for those that it applies to. It will be a slightly smaller allocation than usual purely because we have the rolled over tickets from 2020 but local tickets will still be made available when government lockdown allows us to resume a local ticket selling process (fingers crossed just after April 12th).

Vanessa, sadly they now only offer us a reduced-price weekend ticket. A day ticket used to be an option for local residents but hasn't been for a few years.

Having never been to Wilderness before, can residents purchase a ticket for one day only or is the only option a ticket for the whole weekend?

We have tickets from 2020. Do we need to do anything to carry them over to this year?

Dear friends and residents,

We hope everyone is keeping well and enjoying the spring sunshine.

We wanted to update you on our plans for this years festival and local tickets. We have tremendous confidence that large events will resume from August and are therefore excitedly optimistic Wilderness Festival will go ahead this year from the 5th-8th August.

Whilst we'd love to assume Boris's roadmap will go exactly to plan, we have decided to approach the next few weeks with caution ahead of launching our line-up and full event plan.

Wishing for Wilderness Festival to remain in hearts and minds, we have started to engage with our customers across social communities. We are pleased to report the response is very encouraging.

Regarding local tickets, we are very grateful to those of you who have carried your tickets over from 2020. We are pleased to confirm that we will also be releasing a limited number of tickets for 2021. As per last year, these will be for residents within the postcode OX7 3** and will be made available through the Thomas Gifford centre. As such, we will not be able to release these until April 12th at the earliest, when, following government guidelines, the centre will hopefully reopen its doors to the community. More information on how to book will be made available nearer the time.

We will, of course, keep you updated as and when we have more news. In the mean time sending all our best wishes.
