Charlbury Street Fair Scarecrow Competition

Adding another strong vote for children’s stories. This would mean people of all ages including all the children would be able to have a go at recognising the scarecrows. And there are so many possibilities. I think the other suggestions would be more limited in terms of choice and recognisability. A lot of athletes for example might not have readily identifiable features. But everyone would know lots of characters e.g. Willy Wonka, Little Red Riding Hood and The Gruffalo just to name a few.

 Children's stories as suggested would make an excellent round off to the Short Story Competition and Reading Challenge that the children of Charlbury may have taken part in. Helping to make the 'character' would provide Art and Craft and.,,,,,,,,maybe a bit of technology too

How about "Song Titles" as a theme? Or "Singers and Musicians"? Or "Music and Melodies"?

Not sure that the Olympics will go ahead, but it could be "Sports and Games".

If you want more enteries then the theme needs to be broadly interesting and open to wide interpretation. For me that is why hailey village annual event is successful every year.

Charlbury Street fair will be holding another Scarecrow Competition again this year but we would like suggestion for Themes please.

Also we like more people to Entry and Put Charlbury on the Map
