10K run

Hi Claire,

The 10K goes from the Playing Close to Cornbury Park. Then through the main gates and around the park on a mixed track and grass route. You exit via Cranhill and run down the road to Chadlington. When you get to the Oxfordshire Way you turn back to Charlbury. It is a good mixed course, roads, tracks, grass and mud on an undulating!course.

Hi again, I am not having much luck obtaining the route for the run on 21st Sept. Phil Morgan has not replied to my request! Please can someone let me know so I can get training. Thanks

hi so we dont get mixed up the one i'm talking about is on the 28th of sept for finstock school it's around cornbury park.it's £8.00 to enter and £10.00 on the day there is also a 1 mile fun run for the kids up to the age of 15 a bbq and other things going on.mandy

The one on 21st September - which is in aid of Street Fair - is being run through Cornbury Park. If you need more details, please contact Phil Morgan at philmorgan717@hotmail.com who will be able to give you more information. It is starting from the Playing Close.

Hi, Thanks for the map but I actually meant the 10k run on the 21st Sept on the same day as the street fair - the one that starts at the playing close? Though I may do both now! Does anyone have the route for the one on the 21st? Thanks

Hi, I am thinking of doing this run in sept but can anyone advise what the usual route is - if it runs up the main road towards Cornbury I think I will give it a miss but if it runs via the more gentle route along the walcot bridleway I may be a bit more tempted!
