Coldron Brook etc

Just to warn walkers thinking of heading to the Dean Grove/Coldron Mill area, the Coldron Brook has flooded in multiple places. You can just wade across it at the Mill and into the Grove, if you have stout footwear; but the field entrances to the Grove south of that are pretty much impassable. The winterbourne branch of the brook in the horse field is an impressive torrent and although someone has put a fence post across it, it's very deep and slippery and not recommended! The continuation of the footpath at the north-east corner of the Grove, parallel to the brook, is also flooded and not usable. In happier news, the Taston Brook is still passable in the dell between Taston and Spelsbury, albeit very muddy up the banks.
