Liz, I haven't done this, but there is a place in Summertown that does this privately (for a price): https://www.mayfieldclinic.co.uk/services/coronavirus-testing

I heard them interviewed on the radio.

I think Richard Fairhurst has become something of an expert on these.

The Witney test centre is due to open soon although how busy it will be I don't know.

Has anyone had recent experience of trying to get a Covid test without having any symptoms? We'll be near to our daughter who's expecting a baby on 23rd December.  We're all self-isolating for a week, and are very careful anyway, so we feel risk-free. But daughter has been told that when she presents at the hospital in labour, they will test her and if she proves positive, will send her partner home.  She's pretty distraught about that happening.  We're wondering whether we can all get tests before we meet up.  (Including a one-year old) Has anyone done this? Good experience?  Poor?
