I’m always intrigued by the attitude of people who think that yellow lines apply to everyone but themselves when they (the lines) are an inconvenience.

From what I have seen in the past, the only people allowed to park on those double yellow lines are Range Rovers owned by people using the establishment across the road when their car park is full ... it is also worthy of note that some of the same people have been known to claim diplomatic immunity so as to drive the wrong way UP Browns Lane to reach the aforementioned car park ... ;-)

There’s always been yellow lines there and a disabled bay.

I just wanted to purchase some items from The Deli, but was refused parking. I ended driving to the Spendlove Car Park, then walking. Are yellow lines really necessary there?
