Fri 27 Nov 2020, 23:00 (last edited on Fri 27 Nov 2020, 23:05) While planning a walk round Stonesfield recently I was disappointed to find the White Horse pub has been closed and is up for sale. The pub has been registered as a community asset and the local community are hoping to buy it. Investors are invited to take up £50 shares by 30th November so that they can meet the asking price of £395,000 with a total fundraising target of £480,000. They have £339,950 at the moment. This could be a great asset for those of us who enjoy walking in the Charlbury/Stonesfield area so if anyone is interested in investing full details can be found at https://www.backthewhitehorse.com.
