Go for it! I think people behaved on VJ day when there were tight restrictions on gatherings so why not!

If a piper were to play independently and briefly on the green by the Coop from 1102 after the two minute silence, what repercussions might arise?

The Health Protection (Coronavirus, Restrictions) (England) (No. 4) Regulations 2020 dated 5 November 2020 state the following:

Restrictions on leaving home are set out in Part 1 Section 5. Exceptions: leaving home are set out in Section 6 wherein:

public attendance is permitted -

(f) to attend an event commemorating Remembrance Sunday or to attend the gathering

referred in regulation 11(18)(a)(ii);

18) Exception 14 is that—

(b)the gathering takes place—

(i) outdoors in a place which is not a private dwelling to commemorate Remembrance Sunday, or

(ii) in Westminster Abbey on 11th November 2020

If no one can produce evidence to prevent the said piper playing, he will play as set out above.
