Thank you Jean and Phil for your kind comments. It was a good market with good weather, which always helps. And an opportunity for people to get out and enjoy some of the social contact, safely of course, that we have all been missing, as well as buying food and more in a safe outdoor environment. 

Thanks should also go to James Styan (vegetables) who is responsible part of the team since Covid and responsible for ensuring that the traders, and customers, comply with the protocols re Covid on the day. 

 And thank you also to all our customers for supporting the market.

Agree with you Jean. The last 'live' event available to us in the town! Thanks are due to the lovely Janet and Geoff B who, along with a certain Nick P, make this happen on our green and pleasant Playing Close. 

I was able to buy a whole rabbit for a slow cooked casserole - farmed not wild so no lead content. Hope to see everyone again for the December market though perhaps not in shorts!

A great success. Most of the usual Stallholders were there with their edible bounty. And visitors keeping social distancing.It was very enjoyable. Thank you to everyone involved in pre arranging the Stallholders and setting up their stalls. Well done.
