Smallish shoulder bag for carrying Cockapoodle pup?

Taking an example from a neighbour with the most ridiculously well trained bevy of working Labradors, we want to find a scruffy old flat bottomed bag to carry a small cockapoodle puppy on walks with her older - nearly six year old - housemate. She's too small and young to be on the ground, walking, risking picking up infection and parasites; and apparently at 10 weeks the back legs and hips can be over taxed. Apparently seeing older dogs on "walkies" on and off lead helps prepare them for behaviour when they are old enough to be put on the ground.

We don't have anything suitable. What we are looking for is a shallow bag she can stick her head out to see, preferably with a flat stiffened bottom, like an old sports bag. Scruffiness or small holes don't matter as long as straps are safe from breaking!

If anyone has an old bag lurking in the bottom of a cupboard etc let us know: jsly@oxlug.org or 07947 076257
