If so you may be interested in a scheme called Millennium Volunteers (MV) in Communities run by BTCV. The scheme is open to anybody aged 16-24 years old and benefits include: - Paid expenses up to £200 for travel, equipment or training - A nationally recognised MV Award for 100 or 200 hours volunteering - Access to free local training with BTCV. The two slogans of the scheme are "build on what you’re into" and get "MV on your CV". You could volunteer in any kind of work that benefits the community, for example, conservation or youth groups.
