Jean, You could try Nixey Sound and Communication in Abingdon - 01235 373028: http://www.nixeysound.co.uk They advertise just this kind of repair. 

Although Rawlins in Witney no longer has a shop on the High Street, I think they do still have a TV aerial repair service, and might also be able to do audio. After all, they also used to sell Hifi: 01993 776565.

And, of course, Richer Sounds in Oxford also do repairs -- not sure if this is only if you bought the system from them.

Unless you have Radiohead playing in your garden Alex is right! Sounds like you need an electrician. It will be easier to find and a lot cheaper.

It was all built into the wall, before plastering. I cannot use the system so definitely need someone who understands the system.
