I wonder whether the 9 Acres litter louts are the same people who regularly gather there into the small hours with their loud conversations... this inconsiderate group kept me awake until at least 1.30am last night - not on :(

Thank you Liz. Bins now emptied and Nineacres litter much  reduced

Thank you Liz!

Worth noting that anyone can report an overflowing bin to the District Council: there’s a big green button on https://www.westoxon.gov.uk/environment/litter-street-cleaning-and-dog-fouling/

I will ask if the bins on Nineacres can be emptied. They should be done regularly but probably are more than usually used due to the good weather

I do take my litter home, Jean and Wendy, but it doesn't alter the fact that the bins need emptying. Many of the culprits are small children who look for somewhere to put litter, can't find anywhere, put it under the bench  perhaps meaning  to take it home, but forget about it.

You brought it so please take it home and put it in your own bin.

The bins on Nineacres are overflowing so there is nowhere to deposit litter.

Litter sets an example to others. Best response is to pick it up and bin it before someone else follows suit.

That's because you, as the poster of that text, can edit if if you wish to; the rest of us reading your post do not see that, only you.

You are doing nothing wrong at all; don't worry!

Two plastic bottles of water and various sweet wrappings on 9 Acres today, tucked under a bench and partly in the bushes---only a hundred yards from a rubbish bin. 9 Acres is usually very litter free for a public space. Let's keep it like that.
