The History of Charlbury..........

Very glad you are enjoying them Stephen.  We have been delighted that so many people have been commenting on them both on-line and by catching us in the street.  The aim of the postings is to bring Charlbury’s history to life and we are  trying to choose a wide range of topics so there will be something for everyone. We did float the idea among ourselves of getting them into print so perhaps we might be able to consider doing so in the future.  Meanwhile do keep looking out for them every Saturday.  We are planning to keep them going as long as the museum is closed for the season.  Sadly we cannot yet see our way to reopening while meeting Government requirements and keeping our stewards and visitors safe.

I am really enjoying these weekly glimpses of Charlbury in the 'olden days'. Is there a plan to to publish them sometime??
