Mon 16 Jun 2008, 11:40 The weather forecast looks good, the Millfield looks green and inviting and we only have 6 days until Riverside 2008. There will be teams of people on site all week putting up fences, building bridges, erecting stages etc etc. If any of you can spare a few hours this week to assist, it would be gratefully accepted. Please just come down whenever you are free It looks like it will be another great weekend of free music so please give Charlbury's unique event your full support The Riverside Festival |

Fri 6 Jun 2008, 23:48 We understand that there have been a number of rumors regarding the possibility of the Riverside Festival being cancelled due to the flooding on Mill Field this week. The organiser’s met on Wednesday evening to discuss whether or not it would be better to postpone the festival until September. We concluded that the festival should still go ahead as planned on the 21st and 22nd June as the weather is set to improve. We shall however continue to monitor the situation. It has also been brought to our attention that a number of posters advertising the festival have been removed. If you would like a copy of a poster please contact us directly and we shall be happy to provide you with one. We need the posters so that as many people as possible know about the festival and it continues to be a huge success. Your co-operation is much appreciated. The Riverside Festival. |
