from the age of eight until i could buy a drink my self i sat outside the boot at stonesfield. theplough at finstock the bird in hand. the potters arms.the checqures churchill. the churchill arms ascott under wychwood.the sandys arms chadlington.there was a pub in northleigh that chris wastie used to drink. the landlady rode vincent black shadows at the isle of man tt.there was a pub in combe run by a little old lady not the cock round the corner towards long handbough.

I just phoned the Navy Oak in Leafield, one of my favourite pubs, to be told "we're not open any more". Does anyone know anything about this?
