Tue 5 May 2020, 15:20 I just wanted to say a huge thank you to all those who have donated to the Give & Take scheme so far. The funds have gone towards hampers full of food and essentials for Charlbury individuals and families who need support right now. Every week the hampers are making a difference. It has been heart-warming to see the donations grow, so thank you again to everyone who has helped, and thank you for your kind messages! Betsy and Jonathan |

Thu 30 Apr 2020, 10:32 Betsy Glasgow has asked me to highlight the fact that more Charlbury families are now relying on the food available through the Give and Take scheme. In addition to using spare “long-life” items left on the table near the front door of the Community Centre, donated funds are used to purchase fresh fruit, milk, meat and particular items needed by each family. Donations in cash or by cheque or digital transfer can be made c/o St Mary’s Parochial Church Council as explained under Shopping in the Community Support section of this website or here: https://www.charlbury.info/news/2998.
