Thanks Jean, thank you Rachel.

Yes, focus is central. Free-range children in a large garden to let  their hair down.

I will say something about the BBC Bitesize online lessons.

Ahh, but for children ( and adults I think) playing is learning!

Without doubt, it is up to parents to organise the lessons for their children. Not just playing. My GrandDaughter who is a London Teacher is spending most of her day preparing lessons for her class.

Your newspaper is likely to feature that headline.

Space for children's parents.

This is a website giving support to parents who use the new Journey into Space for Children 8 to 12 website.  There's a link in the parent site.

The Journey into Space website is not intended as a series of lessons.  Children can roam freely as they would indeed do in space.

There are activities built into the website.

The support for parents website is here.

Best wishes from Francis Harrison
