As you can imagine we've been having a lot of phone calls, especially in the mornings. If you ring the Community Centre number 01608 811878 and find it is engaged, you can try this number - weekdays only - and the Glasgow family will help you: 01608 819253.

There won't be anyone there until 10am but you can leave an answerphone message at other times.

We don't want anybody to be unable to get through, so we are trying to address it with these measures. On that note, please try not to keep the operatives talking for too long - we can arrange for another volunteer to ring for a more lengthy chat and some company if you would like this. We have plenty of housebound volunteers who are more than willing to do this, so don't be shy of asking. We're here to help. Charlbury cares. You are not alone.
