I'm compiling a directory of businesses based in Charlbury (including the self-employed and people running companies from home) for the website. Participation is entirely optional as well as free, and no one will be listed unless they opt in. You can also keep as much information confidential as you wish. If you have not had an email or a letter through the door about this, and would like to receive a questionnaire so that you can consider being listed, please email me now!

Why be listed? People have given various reasons so far: these include (1) attracting local customers, (2) improving the chances of being found by search engines (Google trawls the Charlbury website, so people can find your contact details even if you do not have your own website), and (3) helping to demonstrate what a vibrant and varied business community we have here.
