PUBLIC DEFIBRILLATOR (AED) at the HEALTH CENTRE

As at 3 Mar 2020 the Health Centre AED is now fully operational and is guaranteed for another 5 years (thanks to the town council funding the necessaries); its cabinet is now both lit and  gently heated to negate condensation and preserve its battery.

The "Heart Starter" general public defibrillator on the carpark wall of the Health Centre is presently out of service. The authorities are aware and in the event of an emergency you should not be directed to it. The nearest alternatives are: Fiveways Store, the Fire Station and at "the Railway Children" nursery at the Old Pill Factory off Forest Rd. If you are interested then download the free"Save a Life" app  which uses google maps to direct you to the nearest AED; it covers all of our region and is gradually going nationwide.
