Mon 21 Apr 2008, 12:51 Can you find out if he's got one of those desoldering machines - the ones which hoik the entire set of legs off an integrated chip from a circuit board? If he does then I'd like to talk to him about a couple of old but good bits of quality electronics! I can't face taking off ca 100 x 2 legs by hand with a soldering iron and a hand solder vacuum with my close-up vision now gone (aaargh gimme the magnifying glass) along with the steady hand with an 'iron. |
