Suzy, you have my sympathy, although I know that's not what you need.

Charlbury appears to be an increasingly lawless place.

Apart from people parking on pavements and double yellows and in disabled spaces, apparently with impunity, we have burglaries, tyre slashing, stolen number plates, damaged (car) paintwork, and abandoned cars.

Is there no authority in the Town to address this?

Is there a Neighbourhood Watch Scheme?  Are there any local crime statistics?

Stolen from car on our driveway (3 doors down from Pre-School) on Friday evening/night: four brand new all-terrain tyres and a tow bar. If anyone saw anything suspicious or sees these items for sale locally, we’d be extremely grateful if you could let us know on 07775785293.
