Greener, healthier homes - Sustainable Charlbury

My limited understanding is that approx. 21% of our carbon emissions come from our housing.  So it seemed sensible to look at housing and see how to reduce that.  Sustainable Charlbury received a grant from Low Carbon Hub Oxford to carry out detailed surveys of a particular housing type.  We asked for volunteers from The Green because there are lots of similar build and age houses in Charlbury and we thought that the results might be applicable to many others.

We have done thermal imaging surveys and air tightness testing on 7 properties and Doug from Bioregional is ready to feed back his results.  We have arranged for him to present them in the Cornbury Room at the Bell on Tuesday 23rd July - in the evening, 7.15 for 7.30pm.  Anyone who is interested would be welcome - I'm sure there will be interesting tips for all of us.
