Adder alert

My dad worked up there when it was a quarry there was always adders up there in the summer. But that was years ago.

Just a word for any dog walkers who go up the fields by the Quarry or the fields accessed from Woody Lane, my husband & son have seen about 6 Adder snakes of various sizes while walking our dogs in the last week. Grass snakes are quite common up there but we not seen this many Adders for many years, be careful where you put your feet & obviously anyone walking up there with children may be advised to keep to the tracks/paths.
