There was a recent article on the Bill Heine program on radio Oxford concerning garden grabbing for development. An example of this is the proposed development of Wychwood View (Charlbury Dairy) in Thames Street. Planning permission is being sought for 13 dwellings on the garden at Wychwood View, an earlier planning application for 5 dwellings was turned down, on apeal to the planning inspectorate. Residents of Charlbury who admire the view from the Burford Road, Walcot and the Mill Field, and who want this view of Charlbury maintained are urged to look at the plans online at www.westoxon.gov.uk with planning Ref..08/0316/P/FP and 08/0137/P/DCA Any objections need to be raised with WODC planning by Friday 28th March.
