Yes, I did.

It's ok now.  Cross with myself for not doing what I've learned to over the years, namely look out of the window to see if there is an Openreach van there.  Always indicates trouble.

Instead I spent time resetting my router again and again, to no avail.

I do think that it would be courteous of BT to send round some sort of notification - but then again they wouldn't be able to would they?

I clocked it by using my iPhone BT app (on 3G) to discover that the "system", or whatever it is called, was down.

Hi Miles, yes, my broadband and landline have been dropping intermittently for most of the morning.  I popped out to see engineers working at the box at 5 ways.  They told me work should be finished by lunch time.
