In two pages of The Times of India broadsheet newspaper of 15 October, the only item relating to the U K told of British rail companies saying 'sorry for the inconvenience' more than 417,000 times so far this year . There's a quote from Andrew Couch of GWR Swindon in which he says " You can't repeat yourself. Sometimes you say, 'I am sorry we've done this' or 'apologies for this' or ' I'm sorry that this happened'. You've got to mix it up."
Apparently the numbers come from the website 'sorryfortheinconvenience.co.uk' which, if you look at it today, 15 days later, shows an aggregate across all rail companies of 463,375 with GWR checking in with a mere 33,688.
Anyone here had a real gem from GWR or any other company?
