Well, a good job done by some very capable volunteers today. The site is clear for everybody to see. We hope that people will now appreciate how this clubhouse will add to the range of amenities in Charlbury.

Hello Heather. Well the best way I can describe where it is going to be is this.
If you walk up to the main entrance of the Community Centre and then look straight ahead towards Nine Acres playing fields, you will see a big patch of overgrown scrubland. That is where it is going to be.

The Club is aiming to clear the approved site of saplings and shrub growth in preparation for ground works to begin.
The Club has 90% of funding in place from Town Council and West Oxfordshire District Council grants.
The Club will be fund-raising in Charlbury again when the site is cleared and visible to the residents.
The Club is looking at completion of the new building in 2019.
Volunteer help is going to be key to the Club meeting its targets.

On Saturday 18th August from 10am We will be starting to clear the site for the new football and sports club.
If anyone would like to help us with this then please just turn up with rakes spades and general Gardening tools. All help will be great fully received thank you
