I am very interested in contacting someone who would be willing to send me pictures of the village. I am retired United States Air Force and was stationed at R.A.F. Upper Heyford from 1970 to 1973. My wife and I lived in Charlbury from November of 1971 to April of 1973. We lived in an apartment (flat) above a paint store that was next to the Rose and Crown. Almost all of the pictures that I had taken were destroyed during a storm in U.S.
I would be willing to exchange pictures from the American southwest, which is where we live now, New Mexico to be precise, for any assistance that could be given.
