Larcum Kendall was a well known watchmaker who lived in the Post Office building upon which there is a Blue plaque and who also has a room named after him in the Corner House. Elaine I wish you and Tim all the best with the shop - what a great name choice!

or perhaps the last 3 1/2 years of living hell . I so wish the P O could have opened today this would have saved a lot hassle and upset for a lot of people hopefully will get sorted asap.

Perhaps because she had heard that BT and the P.O. had messed up and the P.O. counter at the Coop isn't open.
