Harriet and I will be leading this walk next Wednesday 18th April so invite you all to join us. It is 7 miles and should take about 3 hours
We did wonder if it might be too wet after all the rain but with a slight change to the route it is passable but muddy. Great views when I went round on Saturday
It starts from the Bell at 10.00 am sharp
This pleasant 7 mile walk should last about 3 hours. Lots of great views. We leave Charlbury through Wigwell Nature Reserve towards Taston then Spelsbury (First church) then by the Evenlode river to Shorthampton (Church 2) and back to Charlbury (Church 3) followed by the chance to have a good lunch. The route is passable but fairly muddy so waterproof good walking boots are advisable.
