Anti-theft numberplate screws

Anti-theft numberplate screws have been fitted to my car. Thank you to Charlbury Garage and Thames Valley Police for providing this service.

The news item posted by Wesley Smith is timely.
Earlier today I noticed the rear number plate on my car was hanging down only attached by one screw, the other having been removed from the fixing but still attached to the plate itself. It could only have happened in Charlbury as the last time I used the car at the weekend, I put shopping in the boot and the number plate was intact then. Yesterday, the car was parked on Browns Lane for an hour, otherwise off road at home.
