We had this problem about a year ago in our property. Turned out that the tariffs were the 'wrong way round' so to speak. Only got it sorted by repeated phone calls to eon.

I've had helpful advice about them from Darren Butler at OGB in Abingdon (darren@ogbelectric.co.uk, though no doubt there are more local sparkies who could too. The amount of electricity they consume should be easy to predict on the basis of their wattage and the hours when the tariff operates - unless there's something awry with the meters/timers.

Does anyone know of an electrician who is knowledgeable about storage heaters and Economy 7 and 10 please? My mother has moved into a flat with these heaters and we're trying to figure out why her bills are much higher than projected. Trying to get expert advice is proving difficult.
