Mon 18 Dec 2017, 11:11 The traffic restriction & temporary traffic lights in Hixet Wood have been caused by the need to install a water supply pipe into our house. WODC have licensed these restrictions. It's complicated - but by laying the new pipe around the end of our house a week-long, total road closure has been avoided (which would have been necessary due to the size of the "moling" equipment required). The public highway works should take 2 days to complete or so it states on the plan! In the interim please accept our apologies for the inevitable inconvenience that will occur. |
