Sun 10 Dec 2017, 22:33 (last edited on Sun 10 Dec 2017, 22:34) Part of a tree fell on an overhead cable early this morning causing a power outage at the substation on Sheep St. Consequently, there is no power on Hixet Wood, behind the Bell and at the lower part of Sheep St, which may be affecting broadband. We have been given an estimated time of 11pm for return of power, but nothing yet. |

Sun 10 Dec 2017, 21:01 No Internet at 39 Sheep Street. Looks like a good chunk of Hixet Wood area still has no power. I spied candles in very dark houses just now. Probably related to the in being off...? If it's power it will get priority I suppose? |
