Taking the cat for a walk

A beautiful grey and white long-haired cat with blue eyes walked with my kids and me all the way from Stonesfield Lane to Fawler and back yesterday. We had been going to carry our walk on to Finstock but as it had come with us so far I thought we'd better make sure it got back home again. On the way out I kept thinking it would eventually stop following us and turn home but it never did... it was very charming - when my kids stopped to climb a tree it even climbed the tree with them! But obviously I hope it won't get itself lost doing this again with somebody else.
