Tame white dove/pigeon wandering in my garden

Yes the vet said let it go this morning as it had rested and fed overnight. Hope it finds its way home. If it looks vulnerable, please let me know and I'll bring my cat cage. Perhaps there's somewhere I could take it though the vet didn't suggest anywhere.

Did you let it go? There's a white one in Wychwood Paddocks just now.

A beautiful pure white dove or pigeon with a blue ring numbered 10 has just landed in my garden. It's really tame and flew into the house in which lives three cats and two dogs! I've now got it in a cat cage for protection. Does anyone know someone who keeps doves or pigeons? Or what I can do with the bird if no one claims it? Thanks.
