I relaid some myself using standard flooring adhesive. Main problem is getting a smooth finish, so an electric planer & sander are essential to acheive this, as well as cleaning off any debris on the blocks to ensure they're level. Matching the finish also takes some time...are they varnished or oiled?

We have the usual finger post flooring in our house on The Green but with a patch of concrete that we now want to expose. This was where the old oil burner was and the floor was never made good. I have managed to locate some more woodblocks which will fit exactly, but wonder whether there are any recommendations for someone to lay these? Its a patch about 1m square
