Thu 15 Dec 2016, 16:49 Barry - it's private land on both sides of Dyers Hill, gardens on one bank and Cornbury estate land on the other - though anglers and occasionally others walk along the grass strip around the field on the cricket club side of the road. But as Jim says, there is the Mill Field with access via Mill Lane. Understand your liking for sitting by the water's edge! |

Wed 14 Dec 2016, 21:59 I'll be visiting Charlsbury by train in the spring. I do like to sit by the water's edge and I noticed that the River Evenlode is not far from the station. I was wondering if the land either side of Dyers Hill adjacent to the West bank of the river would be private or public. Thanks. Barry L. |
