Rubbish Tip in Charlbury.

The residents of Charlbury should just be pleased that the Quarry was not turned into a Rubbish Tip. This was mainly due to Geoff Walton, at the public meeting ( which the County Council had called thinking it would just be NIMBY objections) Geoff Walton tied the officer in knots with geological questions and statements about pollution into the Evenlode and thence the Thames,the officer closed the meeting in dispair saying that he could not cope with the questions and as far as I know no more was heard about it.
Now that really would have brought heavy traffic to Charlbury
