We heard your dog yelping from the adjacent field (and wondered what had happened) - poor thing! Was there no owner with the large black dog?

A word of warning.. our small dog was attacked by a large black crossbreed( ?) on the Mill Field on Sunday about mid day.
She suffered severe puncture wounds to her haunches .. vet's attention and antibiotics required... and is now traumatised.
Please beware... We would hate this to happen to another. We have no details of the owners of the black dog.
