Dog walkers beware electric fence

New electric fence around a field of turnips being grazed by sheep at the top end of the Hundley Way footpath where it joins the Saltway. My dog Togo got under the electric fence this morning and yelped as he received a shock. Fortunately I had him on a long lead (insulated so I did not experience the shock)and was able to pull him back (giving him another shock in the process). He was quite traumatised and unusually obedient/timid on the walk back home!

The fence was put up last Sunday - make sure your dog is on a lead before you get near the field. I did not see any signs warning of the electric fence.
